In anticipation of not finding a leather GK replacement for my 20vt, what is the general consensus on the best choice aftermarket jobby? I've seen some pretty vulgar ones on the internet!

I just fitted this one, from a grande punto : I had to thread the top of the coupe gear lever shaft and use a little glue to secure it, but it looks good and the silver ring matches my dash strip.

I fitted a Richbrook Speed leather knob last week, keeping the lift up reverse. Made a How To too Good guide! I should've done it before. It's also possible to cut ca 10mm off the stick before attaching the knob mount.

Cheers Yeah I did think about hacking a little off the top of the stick but didn't really feel comfortable using a hacksaw in a car. Knowing my luck id end up sawing the seat in half...
