Hi all been thinking of treating my car to a respray the car has no rust but has plenty car park dings.I want a good job done but dont want to pay silly money. I have been quoted £1500 from a guy i have had work done by in the past he is good but i would have to leave the car with him for 3 months so he can work on it when he isnt busy. Can any one recommend a good paint place some were in scotland that would paint it for less or take less time for about the same money

For that sort of money I think I would go for a replacement car.

If he's that good and you know he's going to do a good job just do it. I had mine done in 3 months (and then another 2 for the interior)and I have fallen in love with the car again. It makes it more worthwhile when you get the job done right first time - No swirl marks and no runs. Its not just the cost, its the intangibles - piece of mind and you know the work is 1st class from a trusted sprayer.
