I've seen a w plate coupé for sale locally. Trouble is I can't decide what it is.

It has silver Brembos, plus rims, no skirts, no lips, but does have a plus grill and interior.

So what do we reckon the car is?

It unfortunately looks to be a rot box and would need a complete respray.

It's a 20VT6, silver dials but not plus seats, unless they have been replaced.

Pretty sure they were plus seats. It had the red stitching. I didn't get to go inside it though as I was in a rush. So the grill and wheels are standard to a VT6?

Might enquire about the price.

I've seen 20vt 6's without plus wheels and with normal seats

They seem to have no consistency when they left the factory or people have been selling bit on

I have never seen a 20VT6 without plus wheels, although it would not surprise me. I have seen one with the rare recaro front seat option. They are the same seats as the plus ones but with brown rather than red stitching. Plus brakes were always red.

The sills and lower bumper areas were also body coloured on the 20VT6. I have however seen W X and Y plate standard 20VT 5 speeds.

As Iceberg says, sounds like a 20VT6 with plus seats and aftermarket skirts fitted.

Cheers guys. I'll have to pop back and see what the score is. If it is a VT6, then it looks like it has no more intrinsic value than a normal VT. Looks like this could be a breaker given the state of it.

have a closer look at the seats as the 6 comes with bigger bolsters than standard seats . also has push start , silver clocks , plus wheels and plus grille .
