In these last days I have a fixed nail in my mind....

I think that the original 20VT rims painted of glossy white will be outstanding on my sprint blue coop (now I have orange painted calipers)

what do you think about that? sounds good or it's only a waste of money?

someone do that in UK?

gloss black wheels will make the orange calipers pop

Black can look really good on sprint blue, whereas white might look "good", but in UK would be associated with a region of the country (Essex) that is a bit, well, cheap

Yes that is right, looks okay, but I would prefer to go the black route.

I prefer black wheels on a Sprinty Coupe, but that's because I'm lazy and don't keep them clean

If my Coupe was immaculate and/or a show car, then I'd try white wheels, as I think they look ok, as long as they are kept clean.

not a fan of dark rims...

in Italy now they are very common on new cars

I tried 1 year ago the 16VT rims with the grey fiat color 649 but nothing of superlative

of course this is my opinion

I inherited white wheels on my sprinty! not really my thing to be honest. Like the others have said if the car is kept very clean and in good shape they can look quite sharp. But i think darker wheels look so much better on the sprint blue coupe and mine still need to be done!!

they are not so exciting... good of course (the shape of the 20VT rims is pure beauty) but as Mark_S said they appear a little cheap... they seems wheels covers

maybe I can try with foliatec or plastidip

have you thought maybe a darker white rather than a light white, could be less erm 'cheap' and could look abit nicer in a darker white, kinda like a champagne colour.

LE rims used for winter.

as I have a grey LE I had the winter ones left the original light grey (those with LE will know what colour) and the plus rims a slighty lighter grey to match my car.

now you say orange calipers - Id say go dark with the rims, let people have to take a second look - which is what the caliper will invite them to do.

this was my sprinty 6 yrs ago with black rims which made it look so much sportier i think go with black matey.

I think the white rims look good, but it depends on the rims in questions, the multispoke rims look quite cool and remind me of the rally car look, they were generally oz alloys in that style, but the white 20vt alloys don't quite look as good and yes they would need to be kept very clean!
The black/dark alloys do look really good but im not to convinced with "REDJON's" picture (sorry Redjon) not having the skirts definitely takes the eye away from the Dark alloys and sort of makes it look, just not finished

If you want black wheels you may as well stick some steelies on. Black wheels are boring. I should know as i have a set of team dynamics black multi spokes on my astra estate.

Depends a lot on the colour of the car I think.

Not sure I liked the original silver alloys on my scots green car, but they always looked the part on yellow or blue.

I popped a set of gloss black multi-spoke 17s on mine and reckon they look the business with the darker presence of the dark green. Makes the brembos stand out in silver as well.

I like the black wheels on mine but look better with some tire dressing on them

But i also like the fresh look of the origanal silver wheels when i had them.

white would look nice but on say something like team dynamics or something similer

Tbh quite a few styles would carry well on your coop thanks to how well you look after it

Back on topic, for me, white rims - hmm, er,

I had my wheels re-done in black and liked it for a while but wanted to go back to silver eventually (on my sprinty)

Put one colour on one side and other on the opposite. It works.

I did this on one of my Legacy Turbo estates years ago and nobody noticed not even me! I t was meant to be a temporary measure until I got the garage to swap the tyres on them. I completely forgot as you can only see one side at a time - and as nobody ever said anything - I just left them on. They were the same wheel type and size of course!

I'll stick me oar in, the white just doesn't do for me at all, or on any motor, come to think of it.........
