It seems this has been finally given an air date of Thursday, 21st November, 9PM on BBC2. For those who don't know what this is, it's part of the 50th anniversary of Dr Who. This is a 90 minute special on how Dr Who came about, starring William Hartnell, Brian Cox and my sister She is playing the part of Carol Ann Ford. So proud and pleased for my sister in her first proper acting role, it's just a shame I'm going to be on the other side of the world when it's shown here.

Cheers Jim. She has also been filmed in something else being shown on the BBC the same day, but she wants to keep that one low key. Here is one of the official pictures doing the rounds at the moment:

For pete's sake man, she's got access to a Tardis. Being on the other side of the planet is not acceptable! I think the word you're looking for was had. It was filmed back in Feb / March time.

I seem to recall they gave John Pertwee a vintage car in one series for some reason? He did, he had a quirky silver car during his time too
Gone Audi mad!

The first one was "Bessie". Notoriously unreliable kit car, commisioned by Jon Pertwee. The Doctor used it to get around whilst helping U.N.I.T, as the Tardis was kaput (season 7). Now in a Doctor Who museum, I believe. The second one was "The alien", later dubbed "The whomobile". Designed by Pete Farries for Jon Pertwee, used in season 11. It was finally declared road legal after a bit of a battle which saw it being classified as an invalids tricycle (with a top speed of 103mph). Jon gave it away to a fan, bereaved by the death of his mother. It was kept on a trailer outside his home for years until it started to get in the way and it was sold at auction (wrongly classified as a boat) for £1700 in 1996. Apparently still exists, but is kept in storage by its private owner.
