My mate had his 20vt delievered to me as a non runner and to see if i can get her going again...

Well, after the usual checks it turned out to be the cam phase sensor..

No problems...

But the horror i found was a tad shocking..

this coupe is by far one the lucky ones...

It had a timing belt done 2 years ago...
Must of been a blind man that did the work..

So, the Aux belt was a lucky escape!!

Then, i found tipex.. didnt fill me with any joy.



So, lets start off with the Inlet as this was the better one of the and less shocking...

I worked this out to be 3 teeth out on the inlet..

Now the interesting part...
Never seen this...

6/7 teeth

left me speachless...

This was such a mind fu* i went and borrwed 2 extra set's of locking tools from different mates around just incase mine where wrong...

Totaly amazed!

It looks like a plus, but its Not, I was telephoned 2 days ago to say the Sensor was at fault and did I want to buy it, I was interested at £1700 before it failed to start..
