How is the front end tacky?! It's a zender kit, one of the factory options. Not to your taste, fair enough, but tacky is a bit insulting to the large number of coupe owners like myself that have it.

The bird poop might be tacky, so stick the original bumper back on before driving, only half hour job.

There's a lever under the steering shroud. Don't adjust while you're driving...

I see a few cars like these on PH from time to time. Always makes me wonder why apparently well looked after cars only have a Part Service History

Hey all this car is mine or was, i've been a coupe owner for 11yrs now and have taken a great deal of knowledge from this forum and to be honest given very little back. The reason ive had to sell the coup is because my life circumstances have changed a great deal in the last 5 yrs (2 kids + 1 missus and iminantly a new house)i can't really get two car seats in her but it is possible just not practical. Whenever we go anywhere as a family we take the Golf (more boot room)and i have covered just 16000 miles in her since 2007. She has service history until 2006 but my self being an enginneer for her majesties finest flying force there is nothing i cant do on her or would let a garage do. She is priced low because i've delayed putting her up for sale since the summer and promised the wife we wouldnt be taking it to our new house so 2 weeks hopefully. I changed the clutch and cambelt on her in the summer of 2007 so even though its done only 16000 miles time wise she could do with a new belt reflected in the asking price, she is currently sorned since August because i couldnt justify running 3 cars so reflected in the price. Shes had new shocks springs wishbones, droplinks, top mounts + bearings, engine mounts brakes, cables, exhaust, manifold,turbo and more so shes not wanted for much and is a treat to drive. But due to my busy life nowadays i havent got the spare time to polish her up into the diamond she could be. The "bird poo" is flaking paint on the bumper, a kindly neighbour who remains unknown backed into her one morning and this is what i was left with(though no damage to the plastic of the bumper as is original abs? not fg) the original bumper and wheels are in pretty good nick and included though i forgot to mention in th ad, the scabby slam panel was fitted temporely a few years ago and a refinished example is also included with the car, i just dont have the time anymore. She sold last night to a fella from Essex, well i say sold, she didnt want to go after we done the deal as he was driving off she through up an injector fault (first occurance ever) thanks to barnacle and his startrek software i managed to look a bit professional a told the fella i can get the injector swapped for one of my spares this morning, all sorted now and she should be being picked up on tues. I took £1250 for her was that too cheap bearing in mind the belt and tax? Thankyou to everyone on the forum esp barnacle, jimbo, nobby, patch, stan, bockers, begbie, suba, taz, kayjay, james and brinks. I love coupes and maybe will be back in the future i have first offer of buy back if this buyer moves her on, we'll see. I think he's a trader though claimed it was for himself so look out for T680WEU on the market and be aware of the belt.

I get this, but surely you have receipts for the parts? All it needs above that are notes on what work was carried out when - that's all a service history is.

Of yeah got loads of receipts so many they take up there own fiat folder, 1 for receipts and 1 for handbook + fiat cataloge stuff. But the last stamp was in 2006 at 55000.

Then you do yourself a disservice, that's not a part history - it would even be full if it's organised chronologically

Stamps in a book on a 15 year old car for £1300 are not relevant IMO - buy on condition and recent history. (From someone who bought a 140k Alfa)

Looks like he is going to flip this at a really tidy profit as it is currently at £1800.......shame as I was watching it but it looks like other bidders will push it too high for a coupe that needs belts IMO

It has a reserve set so snatching a "bargain" was never going to happen anyway - the seller has a price in mind.

Wasn't expecting a bargain as it was already £1600 when I noticed it but with so many watchers, 3 days left and it already being at £2000 this will likely go for way more than its worth.
