Big thanks to Nigel & Paul for taking the long term view on this.

The car was worth more in parts to them but it really is too good to break smile
It has issues but its been caught in time and there's nothing that can't be fixed.

The resto will have to wait a while, I need to finish my silver VT (change engine & 6 speed conversion) by Easter latest. Then a suspension refresh & tidy on the Sprinty. Then the Broomy gets started smile

Edinburgh, thanks for the tip about Mick's Transport. He's bringing the car down to Devon next week. Hope it all works out for you on the coupe front.

Hi Pigman yes absolutely but it isn't as nice and shiny as yours.......yet smile

Good news is I don't have your guilty secret problems.

I'm using the mission creep approach in telling my management about the new addition.
I've been honest & explained that I've bought an engine & gearbox. Just haven't mentioned that the rest of the car is included too smile
