As above really, is it feasible to fit one on the back seats?

You'll probably have to rest it on the floor in front of the back seats, but I don't see why it wouldn't fit.

Wind the window down.

Seriously: it will protect it. And give you more to hang on to while you get it in and out.

I think you'll struggle to get it in the car - its longer than you'd think and you're going to have to angle it fairly steeply just to get it through the door opening (which is slightly smaller than the door, obviously)

I reckon your best bet will be to remove the passenger seat - easy enough - five minute job with an allen key

And I definitely agree with Neil - lower the glass if you can - it makes the door MUCH easier to handle

Agree with Nigel, I think you'd be very lucky to get a door into the back without at least removing the passenger seat.

I'd be very surprise if it does.

I've just picked up a replacement door for my 156, just managed to squeeze it into the back of a friends Insignia but decided against picking it up in the 156 and took the missus's L200 just to be safe - glad I did, they're much bigger than they look fitted to the car!

They don't. I tried it when i was temporarily using the donor coupé shell as a parts shed, even with the whole interior removed, getting a door in is nigh on impossible.

Cheers chaps, I'd thought it might sneak in.

All irrelevant now sadly as the exhaust flew off on the way home tonight. Infuriating.

I hate to say it chaps but my a Coupe love affair might be over.
