Dodgy buying off ebay I know but at that price thought I'd take a punt!!
Just need to source 5 bolt v band adapter for it and external waste gate.
Be interesting to see how quickly this will spool?

I read the spec, got highly aroused, then had a cold shower.

Enjoy mate

Turbine housing is too small - it will spool really early, but it will be strangled just as it wants to get going

0.64AR is normally the smallest turbine housing, with 0.86 being the one to go for when chasing peak power

Also have a feeling that the manifold flange is wrong

Edit - just realised its for a 16vt, so the flange is correct IIRC

Inlet is T3 so correct for 16vt.

Hi Nigel.....

I did think this regarding the .48 housing but Flea reckons it will make good power..... Don't forget this is a "T3", which are less restrictive than the t25/28 flange most you 20v guys are running!
I've read on more than one occasion that
T3 .48 equates to T2.63 &
T3 .63 equates to T2.86.....

Might be utter bollox though??! laugh

I have no experience of 16vt modding, but I do recall reading some of Begbie's many exploits and that the turbine AR for a 16vt is smaller than the 20vt

Good luck - if its anything like the 2871 I ran for 4+ years, you'll be chuffed
