Does anyone know how to get hold old stuff that was put on iPlayer?

Specifically I found out my sister was interviewed on Radio 1 whilst I was on holiday, but only got told this on Christmas day, so was interested to hear the interview. I've found links to where is was on iPlayer, but it just comes up saying that it's not available for BBC iPlayer radio.

I no longer have the necessary connections, Alexis, but it's possible that the programme on R1 that did the interview have a record copy.

It's worth asking.

iPlayer material is overwritten by default after a week or so.

Does the programme have a web page to itself? Who was the dj? When was the programme?

Best bet is simply an email to gemma.cairney@bbc.co.uk

Explain you're a family member trying to get a copy of the program that's now gone from iplayer.

Cheers Neil, strange thing is, my sister is very good friends with Gemma, so it might be a bit odd asking Gemma for a copy smile

Easier if she knows her; just have her ask.

I've not been in the beeb for years now so I don't know the current policy, but it's pretty certain there'll be a copy around somewhere. It always used to be the case (in pre iPlayer days) that physical copies were kept; now it will be somewhere on the network.
