Why can I no longer see it in the traders section! ?

As 812112 suggested, their subscription ran out and they decided not to renew.

They are still in business and Countrycruising is still on this forum.

Oh ok...I didn realise the traders had to pay an extra charge to be on the forum. Least people are aware though

I had wondered where it had gone.

I'm sure that maintaining the forum doesn't come cheap and we need all the income we can get but it does seem more than a shame that the level of this fee is putting traders off. The list looks more than a little thin and I'm not sure if at the next AGM this shouldn't be reconsidered.

I've relied (& will continue to) on FCSS and Poweritalia since first getting a coupe. For any new members joining now they wouldn't even know the existed. If it wasn't for them I'd have been long gone and thrown in the towel. To help any new members in the meantime can the forum at least consider transferring their contact details to the members businesses so others have their details to hand?

The fee of £100 is trivial and not what deters traders from using the facility. Some just don't feel the need to use it.

OK then fair enough. I'd assumed it was this that was putting them off.

The more the numbers deplete the more traders will protect there futures as CarlT and power Italia have done.
I think most of the traders have also encouraged newer models or vehicles to specialise in as well as coupes.
Putting all your eggs in one basket can be very dangerous especially if your under the knife from forums.
Word of mouth can sometimes be more prosperous than being in the public eye.
Torque Italia do very well adopting this method.

I think power Italia specialise in mini's now and Carl went on to Tvr's.

It will be a sad day when the coupe doesn't come through the doors but hopefully there's many years ahead yet.

Shame about FCSS, every time I spoke to him he was very helpful and really gave some great free advice. My Coupe wouldn't be on the road if it wasn't for Joe. He is a legend.

He's still there - and still at the end of a phone. I don't think there's any need to eulogise just yet.

I've just had a significant amount of work carried out on my car by Joe. I've not had a chance to drive her yet as I'm waiting for insurance to come through before I can get tax, but I'm very much looking forward to it. More on this soon.

Joe has been very patient and accommodating - always a very pleasant chap to deal with.

JBT has put this very well, there's always going to be a flow with traders and their preferences. Sure I heard on the grapevine that he's branching into Smart cars

FCSS is still around and healthy, just not using that part of the forum.

Indeed. If you ask him very nicely he might even consider your non-coupe car - though I think he prefers Fiat group!

Joe & Danny are extremely helpful people and I'm sure will still be asnwering the phone "Hello, FCSS".

joe certainly alive and well as visiting him next Wednesday for my annual check up and to fix all those annoying bits and bobs!!

Joe has even been known to supply bits "downunder" with fitting instructions which worked to a "T".

And so am I still around. Still doing coupes every day. Just accommodating some German brands of vehicle in addition to Alfa Romeo and the Fiat Coupe.

Sadly the day of running a business solely on the Fiat Coupe have passed, but we still offer full facilities for them and in our thirteenth year of doing so.
