Well, I took the coupe for an Mot yesterday and sadly it failed

On the plus side, it passed the emissions

It failed on the brakes. I knew it would as soon as I started to drive it, as the abs light came on and the pedal had very little pressure. The garage said it was due to the front wheel bearing hanging out and the brake efficiency could possibly be due to a seized rear compensator.

So I have 10 days to do the work but it's pouring with rain and I don't get home from work until its dark through the week so looks like it may take longer than the 10 days.

Oh, and the handbrake................
