So are F.K,s a good spring for a 20VT? At that price they won't last long.

Does the 40mm rear drop make much difference seems strange having 40mm rear and 35mm front drop to me?

The rear sit a little higher on a standard coupe so they will make it sit a little more level.

In all honesty, I wouldn't bother with anything that has the letters FK on them, why not give Joe a call and get a set of his proven quality springs?

Did I miss something? Chrissy isn't in possession of the FK springs as euro performance messed him around, he rated springs for another car which isn't exactly a comparison for a coupe set of springs.

But that's an Audi A3.

Different car, different spring rates, different dampers, different suspension set up, different diameter section of wire used to make the springs but yes they did come from the same factory so go ahead, they will be identical.

Look at Apex springs for the coupe, they are the same diameter wire and rate as the Eibach spring and yet somehow they are no where near as good as the Eibachs.

All I'm saying is be careful, there are springs available with glowing reviews and a current group buy.

You can't verify what's *best* for a coupe as every owner has different tastes about how they want their ride quality to be and of course how much they have as a budget.

I now have the Spax fitted, they feel nice on the road, Urgent left and right turns feel very alike my old Eibach's tbh.

Each to their own.

Chrissy.
