Think I may purchase when I have funds. 58 quid is very cheap. I would have wasted more money in the past

they look ok but you can't tell until you see them in the flesh . Like Nismo said You can't tell if they are good or bad until you see them in the flesh. They might be very good, the feedback from the other hoses he has sold is good! I would imagine they would not be any worse and probably better than the current condition of the well used 13 year old ones I have in my car now. So I say go for it Fatash. Have a punt

If they were boost hoses I would say give it a punt as if the hose fails it's unlikely to damage anything, however these are coolant hoses, what happen if a hose fails and you don't realise? Not only high risk failure but could also leave you stranded.
IMO ebay is NOT a place for 'new' car parts, great for finding S/H bargains though!

Is this a complete kit for the engine? I counted and got it to 8 parts. I wonder because Midlands car servicing has a kit with 12 hoses.

The CHOD pipe is 20vt, that's the way to tell if it's turbo specific. As others have said, buying kits like this can only be judges after they've been inspected by hand. I have fitted 5/6 different makes of hoses over the years and personally I think the only set to trust are the Viper performance as everything else I've fitted is either poor silicone/manufacture quality with feather edges to the wrap. My opinion anyway

i ordered a set as it was a cheap way of fitting disposable hoses. Theres every chance i will need to cut some of them about for the conversion and i'd rather not do that with 200 quid hoses.
I'll take some decent pictures when they arrive... happy for anyone to take a look at them as well

Well I ordered a set 8 days ago and they have arrived.I am no silicone hose expert but after a inspection of all pipes I must admit I cant fault the finish is faultless.I have not fitted them yet so cant comment how good a fit they are.Only time will tell if good quality or not but surely they must be better than 16 year old rubber pipes

I'm in need Of a hose kit, I've looked on eBay etc but to be honest I'd rather know what you guys recommend, looked on viper performance and there a little bit out of my budget. So what's the next best thing?

Yes...but price is really different..."Free delivery it says, and worldwide postage" on groupbuy price is good but shipping cost to Italy are similar to price to hoses.. ;(
