Wales will probably break free in the second half, to set up a cliff hanger with England. I think France will potentially rally to nudge past Ireland.

A draw, wow lucky France! Carp second half from irland especially given the weather. Ah well, sums the whole tournament up, not what you'd expect and a bit wet.

It will be thud and blunder. No classic match as there is too much at stake, and the weather will be crap (mind you, they may shut the roof - poofters!). England to win 12-6....... (to hijack another thread, the odds are 9-2)

England to win 12-6....... (to hijack another thread, the odds are 9-2) Not bad. It'll almost certainly be relatively low scoring. IMO England need to drop Ashton. He's adding nothing at the moment and he'll be vulnerable against either North or Cuthbert (lows highest rate of missed tackles in the tournament). I'd also like to see Care start, he's so much more exciting than Youngs.

The drama is immense, but the skill levels (and the refereeing ) are so random that I would far sooner watch Rugby League or American Football. Frankly, any game where you must pass the ball backwards to go forwards seems an exercise in futility

Amazing performance from Wales and two great tries from local boy Cuthbert - I used to play rugby with his Dad! He's actually English, but Wales spotted him when he was 16 and with a Welsh grandparent, he was fast tracked into Senior rugby via the Sevens circuit.

Wales were far superior and England crumbled under the pressure, as simple as that. Experience, clearly, being the deciding factor today.
Wales made better decisions all over the park, all game.
This squad of England players are good, they've proved that with some decent wins over the best teams in the world, but they are clearly lacking the experience to win under pressure.
I think the wrong England team started today though. I agree with what Woodward said last week. Vunipola, Care and Hartley all should have started and Ashton should never have been a consideration. A few good tries a couple of years ago do not make a good winger.
I don't want to chastise Lancaster too much though, he's a young manager just as his team are young and in need of more experience.
This loss will hopefully give England the slap in the face they so desperately need in order to improve and move forward.

What he said. How very very disappointing to watch England crumble after just 1 try.

I would say that all said at told I think I was more dissapointed by O'driscolls behaviour thta the england loss. Sad way for him to (possibly) finish.
I'm all for players being able to use their feet in a rucking motion if an opposing player is on the wrong side of the ball and not moving away, but stamping is another matter. That said, I didn't think O'Driscoll's stamp was particularly nasty and it was certainly nowhere near as bad as the Italian player made out. Still, he deserved a card for it, it was completely unnecessary and right under the ref's nose.

Impossible to call, but fancy the winner will score three tries to two!!! Swing low!

The England v Ireland game was very similar, but an amazing contest nonetheless. Ireland deserve to get something out of the Championship, so I think you may be right. I'm hoping both May and Cuthbert have great games as they have local connections and played trained with each other at Hartbury College as up and coming young bucks.

Yeah, O'Driscoll had a fitting last game on Irish soil and a great send off. Will always be a legend.
