Yes, there's a guy on the Polish forum the same one who makes coupe models how's done it. He used D2 coilover kit for this purpose. Unfortunately, there isn't much info in his project thread about the conversion.
They are Here. Only in polish, but the translator do a good job:) A bit basic adjustments if coupled with standart shocks, but with "ex-coilovers" should be interesting... Also found english FB page.
