As has been discussed before howmanyleft is unreliable as it goes on whats entered on your log book. My LE is listed as a 20VT on the V5. Anyway a more reliable guide to LE numbers is to go around Mikes house.......

I have seen quite a few LEs (all numbered < 300) and their V5s, only some V5 stated 'LE'. From my experience, only about 1in3 stated 'LE', so this suggests the howmanyleft numbers can be tripled(?)

Maybe Mike can confirm all his hoard of LEs have 'LE' stated on their V5s? We can then maybe determine when/why DVLA stopped stating LE on V5s.

I take little notice now of what is on the V5, if it has a plaque and everything looks LE and original, then it is an LE.

If it has LE interior, a plaque but car is ink black with 5-speed box then it obviously it isn't!

I can comfirm le 0031 is down as le on the log book but its a 99 on a t plate so a later registered one.

There is a section on the log book for amending the vehicles details

Neither of mine say le and my plus doesn't say plus either.
Yet on hpi they do?

It comes down to what the clerk at the initial registering dealership wrote on the form they sent to the DVLA. If the clerk didn't write "LE", then the V5C won't show it.

Yep they changed mine with no issues
I showed / sent a screenshot from eper with the chassis number with a cover letter and it was changed with no issues

Both of my LEs are registered as 20vts and both are on the road! So, yes , how many left is not reliable.

Mario which section of the V5 do you fill in to amend?

They didn't log LE's as limited edition as they knew the real limited edition hadn't been made yet..

Mine is registered as a Plus ;-)
