This might be a silly question and I daresay there's a a facet of this resource which could tell me (although I'm not sure where?)

but I've just been looking into tyres for my W plate VIS and have been quoted 225/45 R16 which is strange as I've got 205/50 R15 on the car as I got it?

Does this seem odd, or should I not hold too much value to Registration Plate based search functionality?

Good to see you made a purchase Jim, it's not the colour you were looking for but you've got the A/C and no sunroof for the Silver flags thumb

As for the wheels and tyres, yes that's odd and they've done something wrong there.

Hey thanks Countrycruising!

thankyou for your positive vibes!

how do you mean, "they've"- do you mean online, or the previous owners?

Are 15's correct for this car??

Yes. The both the NA versions are 15 inch.

205/50/R15 is the correct one. I use Toyo Proxes on mine.

Perhaps the website thinks you have a Turbo.

Ah it was an internet search, my mistake, thought you'd spoken to a human.

In that case their system is wrong, your Coupe should be listed with 15" rims as that was the standard size fitted to all the n/a's.

205/50/15's are the standard fit on a VIS

As they come from the factory they had 15s, have a look at what the tyres on it say, 15 or 16" and take it from there.

I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Jim did you resolve the mystery of the odd coloured master key as the one you discibed on your phone message didn't sound original?

Hi Joe,

actually no- I was hoping to defer to your judgement on that.

I 'think' that my car is so late as to have (supposed to have) had a 'code-card' with the two keys (I read that on here somewhere...?) instead of the maroon third key.

And I was hoping for you to confirm whether that sounded feasible..?!

thankyou for asking anyway
