I fitted an FMIC & I have a couple of issues with the pipework between the SIP & intercooler, this was never intending to be the finished article as such, just a hack up - these were just bits I had lying around to get it back on the road, so it needs finishing properly.

Firstly, the pipe as you can see is being fouled by the headlight & it's squashing it down:

Also the elbow onto the sip is kinked:

So basically I need some advice on re-routing & the parts I require to do that section of the job properly, I don't want to start ordering bits or any universal kits etc till I know exactly what I want.

So if anyone has some advice and/or the bits I require, or any relevant advice most appreciated, a few pics of yours would be handy too

how would you tuning buffs do the above section?

Thanks in advance

Hi my pipework came up the otherside of the chassis rail (inside engine bay)so avoiding the headlight
and my sip is below the chassis rail
It really depends on how big your FMIC is
Pro alloy have an installation guide with some pictures they might help you?

Alternative, much shorter route with ProAlloy FMIC:

Thanks all got it re-routed & sorted wink just had to purchase a couple of 90 degree silicone pipes:

Intercooler size meant I couldn't route it on the inboard side if the longitudinal, but didn't matter same destination!
