Looking for a reasonably priced clutch for 20vt Road car.
It's only fit to last a year and it won't see much abuse.
Will a valeo stand up to it?

Valeo will stand 300bhp but not for long.

I used to get 50,000 out of a standard Valeo clutch when I was running 300bp

depend on what turbo you are running - if it is savage and quick to come on boost you might be pushing it with the stock clutch depending on how you drive, and how long you want it to last.

The next step up used to be a walkers cover plate - which was fine for me at 340bhp, but it was heavy on your left foot. Above this it used to be a helix organic....

Clutches are rated in torque, not bhp.

Just buy the helix paddle clutch which will cost you around £250 and use your standard valeo pressure plate job done
