Hi, does anybody have any experience of safely transporting a bonnet in a van without damaging it, what is the smallest van I could use, my local hire firm has a fiat doblo small van would that be too small?
Are they ok to stand up or do they need to be laying down?
Can they safely be strapped without deforming the bonnet?
I'm also willing to use a courier as a last resort, but only on recommendation, so if anybody has successfully used one at a reasonable price, please let me know
Any help appreciated
Cheers Rich

I transported mine in a standard transit with some bits of carpet, no damage at all.
Wrapping a bonnet for a courier company is quite a challenge!

I've seen a bonnet fitted into a Transit Connect, but it was tight and had to be positioned diagonally

Mine went into the old type Transit van diagonally.

I don't think you'll get it into a Doblo.
