Drove it home last night.Had a few mods, boost upgrade, forged dump valve, adjustable fuel regulator, stainless exhaust etc, christ it can shift!!!Couple of problems though, oil leak, pretty sure its the oil cooler itself?? I expected corroded pipe, but cooler is oily the bottom third of the fins down! Never had a cooler leak on anything, is it possible? Are these cars by nature a hard stiff ride? Common problem of the dash rattling coming home, fondled the dash all over, after 80 miles of my 100 mile jouney coming home my hand fell on main culprit, just above the radio, squeezed my hand in there and it stopped lol.Just very mild vinyl to vinyl squeaks now which is bareable. Now there was also a drone which came in intermittently but just going at oow speeds, not noticeable at all at motorway speed? Apart from this I absolutely love the car, its mad as a box of frogs, turbo hits hard and just pulls and pulls. Ordered new drilled discs pads all round and going to get little rust issues sorted so its mint!:-)

Hi and welcome robbo Whereabouts are you, did you buy from a forum member? Press to show off your coop Yes they can be a bit crashy I'm afraid, the firm ride not helping the squawks and crunches around the dashboard. Get a tour round the troublesome places at the above link! Or try this And so begins your coupe paranoia

Is there anything that can be done about the firm ride? I know handling/firm ride go hand in hand but this just feels 'too' firm!:-)

Is there anything that can be done about the firm ride? I know handling/firm ride go hand in hand but this just feels 'too' firm!:-) If you are running aftermarket (uprated) springs/shocks, going back to standard will help.
