I recently returned from a trip across Europe with a group of friends, where we drove to Austria for Worthersee 2014 which is one of the biggest VW/VAG group meet in Europe.

The trip was in memory of a close friend who lost his battle with cancer just over a month ago as he had always wanted to go.

I decided to go in my coupe, thought be ironic turning up to massive German car show in the Fiat needless to say the response driving through the show was mixed

Few people who knew what it was took pictures and gave a thumbs up but the hardcore VW fans had some chosen words to say. didn't help being only English cars there.

Point of this is, ive had many people give me crap over how my car is a Fiat, its going to break down etc etc.....

In total covered 1859 miles in 5 days, 39 hours driving, a few top speed runs through Germany, was getting 375 miles to a tank of fuel even with the crazy prices of fuel in Holland and my coupe didn't miss a beat once!!!

Always said if you look after a car, it will look after you.

was emotional once there just made the most of it, had stickers made for all the cars.

cheers not bad once cleaned we rented the house for 3 nights, worked out £48 each between 8 of use lovely house. Austria beautiful place aswell

Yes nice. We are going there this summer for a camping holiday.
Many years ago my family lived there.

no matter tho as it was the reason behind the trip that matters
