My old mans Jaguar XJ6 is 18 years old now and I think the injectors might be a little tired.

I bought 6 off fleabay and was just about to attempt changing them, but then saw some horror stories about getting injectors out. (Not specifically Jag, but injectors in general).

Should these pull off or will I need specialist tools?

Petrol injectors?

A nice douse of WD40 around the seals and they should come out the next day. Diesel ones are a different story.

Thanks Chris. Slightly different model as that looks like an XJ40 (and Dad's is an X300). But good to hear that the big pullers are for diesels.
