Evo intercoolers can be fitted to the coupe but I'd be buying one that is specifically made for the coupe.

Proalloy do a great kit, which is probably the one most commonly used by coupe owners and is well proven.

I'm running an Fc Performance intercooler & hard pipe kit which is also great.

Either of the above companies should be able to ship to Malta.

The pro alloy one is good for the fact of it being design for the coupe but it can be improved on by a long way.

There are several evo forums, I'm members of as many owners club forums as possible because i'm a whore. the lancer register and evolution.net spring to mind, but also check out other mitsubishi forums like the colt and FTO clubs because all mitsubishi parts are interchangeable they often deal in evo parts but at cheaper prices.

Granted, retro fitting an intercooler from another car's not the best idea, but it can be more cost effective if you're on a budget.

i understand the eve intercooler can fit and work well on the coupe, suggest the evo forum would be best place to ask, or the parts wanted section on here may be worth a shot...

personally i have front mounted intercooler fitted... a pro alloy kit i bought and fitted myself. not the cheapest, but a firm believer of you get what you pay for... pearls in - pearls out.... garbage in - garbage out if that makes any sense smile

Fitting a cooler from a different car is straightforward. Its the pipework that's the pain.
To me that's the only advantage of buying a "coupe kit".
Some of the kits I've seen seem to have excessively long pipework taking both pipes back to the stabdard routing.
