Came back from a nice day out to find this on my passenger door. No note or witnesses locally.

The door still operates as normal and the B pillar is undamaged. Does this look repairable or do I need a replacement door?

I think it can be repair or re-skinned but a replacement door may be a cheaper option frown

Nightmare situation! Just no need not to leave a note. But the door looks repairable on the plus side. In fact I'd think if you pop the door card off you may push most of it out, a quick rub of T-cut should take the white finish that's been left also.

Bugger. I would say you're looking at a replacement door.

Pull out or PDR no. Repair yes
Economcial repair that's another question . It look like you have a high crease along the line the inner door frame meets the skin .
If it's repaired rear qtr will need to be done too.
Replacement door could have dings and wrong colour , so front wing bonnet and rear qtr need painting aswell as inside door.

Get a few quotes , you will find some place won't repair it and replace other will repair .

Thanks all for the input. I would like to get this sorted soon. It looks like a lot of the white just rubs off but there are sections which are down to the metal.

The process of getting quotes will start next week.

dlongstaff, you sum up my thoughts and feelings , but won't repeat it lol.

so unlucky mate... i would strip out the door card, try push it back to get something like right, before re-fitting door card, try asking around a mobile repair dent pullers... think a company called dent devil or something may be useful.
There is also mobile body repair people that may be able to fill the remittance of the dent to blend it, then spray it the correct colour... not cheap, but if you but a new door then you would probably have to spay it / sort dents.
