Dears! cool

Just bought on EBAY a set of tools to fix camshaft for changing timebelt.
As discribed for a lot of FIAT engines, also for my Barchetta (1,8 16V) and my Coupe (2,0 20V).
The engine code in my Coupe is 182B3.000 (M4) and in the list of tools it´s for a 182A1.000 (M2).
Where is the different between them? confused

How many pieces does the tool set contain? Over here we tend to just buy a two piece set that will only work on one engine type. For example a set for the 20vt won't work on the 20 valve non turbo. And you would need a different set again for each 1.8 engine variant.

... and again: Where´s the different between 2.0 20V M4 and M2 engine?
Is it the camshaft and/or inlet manifold (VIS "plastic" vs. alloy).
It looks like the previous owner (who changed the engine) bought an older (M2 ??) engine from MAREA or similar type crazy
Who knows the details? rolleyes

AFAIK should engine code been found on the block near starter.
I tried to find it ... but no luck! rolleyes
Do I need a mirror to have a look?
Or have I to remove the starter?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know the differences but if you look at Eper
It lists model variants M3 M4 etc in the title headings
On each page. You might track it down there
