When did I say sky was a British team? There's a real issue on here of self richiousness and other peoples opinions being cast off as slurrs or slander. My views are sometimes a little off centre or perhaps not 100% pc but at no point do I intentionally post anything on here that I wouldn't say to anyones face or that's intended to insult or create tye impression im some kind of biggot.
Not everyone has the same opinions, its part of the variety of life and what creates debate, try dealing with it like grown ups, accept it and enjoy debating rather than trying one up man ship.
Thanks.

Apologies to the OP for dragging this off topic. And apologies to BigMuzzie if you think my criticism was unjustified. My reading of your comment was that you were saying it served Sky right for not selecting an "actual" Brit instead of a "fake" one.

Thanks Jim, I would also like to offer the same - apologies for ranting and also not considering that what I wrote was done in frustration and may have been misconstrued.

Love you Jim laugh

Well that was a long and tiring 3 days of bombing around the English, French and Belgium countryside.

Lots of pictures to post when I have time to upload them.

A quick one from the Belkin and Codifis hotel in Le Touquet

If you assume each bike is worth £15k+ then the 17 bikes (1 was being worked on) you're looking at are worth £250k+ shocked

Top job, trust you enjoyed it.

How do they do it in France (away from when the bikes are travelling past)?

I found it all a bit quick once they arrived and left, then the crowd sort of massed off in every direction!

So bezzer you didn't try borowing one of those bikes for a quick ride, they don't look like they were padlocked up, I'm sure they wouldn't have missed just one, at least not straight away...

As much as I dislike Contador, it was a sad sight seeing him climb into the team car yesterday.

The race is Nlbali's to lose now. Hopefully Richie will get a podium for Sky although the climbers in the team don't appear to have any great form to offer much support.

I read he had tried to ride on with a broken leg; must be so gutting to know that your year's preparation is over...

They've just done post finish interviews, the question was asked of a team sky rider what was the best part of the tour? The answer, " Yorkshire"
