Ive taken the coup out of the garage, how two years have flown by!

Now that it will live outside I was interested in getting a cover that will resist the external elements and at the same time not ruin the paintwork or cause mould etc.

Anyone have experience of covers and make a recommendation?

cheers!

i got a decent car cover from hamilton classics, taylor made for the coupe, storm proof cover that is breathable and protects against the uv effect. cost me 180 £
the cover is fleece lined, so as wind blows it polishes the car as well.link here...

my experience of this cover...

does it keep the rain off - yes
is it breathable... to an extent yes... these is sometimes condensation on boodle panels from water under car evaporating.
does it keep the uv off - yes, i kep windows just open about half inch when covered to let heat out.
dunno about snow yet.

hope this helps

thanks Chris, I'll take a look at that. What is the boodle panel? (autocorrect?)

I have also heard that a tray of cat litter helps reduce in car humidity smile

Any others out there also worth considering?

sorry, yes the silly computer has some fancy spelling ideas... should say body panel.

never though about cat litter, but can understand it could work to absorb maisture... but not sure if silica gel bags would be better... this is what is used in industry areas to reduce moisture.
