Has anybody who has done this got any advice?

I was thinking about using some self tapers, but not sure how hard the consul material is, it looks tough in that area.

Hi Mark
The one I fitted came with what I think were the original self tapping allen screws.
Went in just fine, albeit *slightly* squiffy, line it up carefully and you'll be fine.

Thanks for that, I don't have the OEM tappers, but some good equivalents. Good to hear they tapped in okay. Cheers

Well I found my consul material really hard, too hard to self-tap. So to enable precision I drilled some very small holes to guide the screws straight. Nice job in the end. cool
