Hi,
Gradually saving enough money for new Stereo (other priorities with the coupe first!)..

Quite a simple post really..
I have a Pioneer deh p4300r.
I beleive it has 'aux' wires and function.

Presumably, these work just like they do on my house stereo?
e.g. I can plug my MP3 player into these wires, and therfore use it in the car (instead of spending 30 to 50 quid on a special cable?)
Not looking to control the MP3 player from the stereo: just listen to it...I already have a headphones to white and red cable I was using to connect it to my house stereo
