Hi, just trying to establish what model my car is. My car has been in storage for a long time and on my first trip out a guy came up to have a look round when parking. he said you don't see many of these plus models. I always thought it was a standard coupe but he assured me it wasn't. I looked back through my paperwork, the original bill of receipt doesn't say it's a plus but all of the fiat service history lists it as a plus. The car doesn't have the side skirts etc but it does have the less bulky recaro interior, wider wheels, 6 speed box, push button start, 180mph clocks etc as pointed out by the guy in the car park, could these have been optional extras or is it simply because its a 2000 model. Thanks

Body coloured sills, wider tyres, 6 speed box, push button start with 180mph dials were standard on all 20vt's from late '99. The new, bigger bolster cloth seats were standard and leather versions or full recaro's were an optional extra.

If it was a plus it would have the red brembos, red cam cover, red strut brace, skirts and front lips, red stitched steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake,

Thanks, I did think this was the case but the guy was adamant it was.

If you go onto Eper, with your chassis number, it will tell you exactly what it came out of the factory as.
And also when it escaped ...
