Hi all,

In what was just the start of a lovely week last week... I got in my car, closed the door and rear windscreen exploded...

Trying to source one has proved difficult. Joe has a second hand one but ideally I would like a new one.

The 20VT one does not exist anymore nor does any patten part. the 2.0 16v appears to be available but doesn't have the third break light cut out.

Fiat have located one... the only one in Europe they know of currently. For a 1.8 16v in Spain... After a lot of heated discussion AutoGlass have ordered it.

My question is, should this have the rear cut out? Its for the 1.8 16v which was a later model I believe. Anyone in the know able to confirm?

Its Fiat Part Number 46306603

Any help appreciated rotate

1.8 had the high-level brake light - See this thread from kayjey

I have two or three rear screens in stock

The rear wiper was optional on the 1.8 16v coupe so make sure the rear screen has the wiper hole if you need it.

Edit As GrahamL suggests, It may not have the hole for the rear wiper Nick.

Some 1.8 16v didn't have it and Eper shows 2 types, the part number you quote being for M1 (1.8) only and the other number being used in all 20valve models as well as the 1.8 litre.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

I know you don't want second hand but I've got one you can have for free

You'd have to remove it and travel here but it's yours if you want it

Thanks guys,

Nice find Joe, good to see a 1.8 like that.

Ah so its not looking good then... Seems i'll end up with a screen with no wiper hole... I'm sure that was fashionable at some point...

Little chance of retrospectively adding one I imagine.....

I'm trying to find a new replacement if one exists.. If not I'll have to look at a secondhand one. Thanks Adam I appreciate the offer.

If the screen you've ordered ends up being the type without the hole for the wiper, I'll buy it off you if you don't want it. Been looking for one of these screens!
