Anyone watching this game tonight, it kicks off at midnight my time but I'm tempted to stay up and watch it just for some good banter at work tomorrow.

Great to see these two auld protagonists in action again even as a friendly. Scotland under Gordon Strachan are looking sharper than they have for years, May and Russell particularly promising excitement for the future. A few too many mistakes though giving away the ball really made it too easy for England. This cleared-out side, away from the old faithfuls Lampard and Gerrard, admittedly wonderful servants to their country, looks fresh and ambitious, quick on the ball, passing better and comfortable rotating around Rooney who seems to have found his niche as controller, Pirlo-style but quicker!

A fair result, pity about the ill-mannered booing at the beginning.

I only caught the highlights but it seemed a good game, certainly far better than the usually dross friendlies we down south have to endure.
Hopefully can be revived as a regular fixture.
BTW - Very impressed with Scotland's form in the Autumn RU Internationals! They look like a good outside bet to do better than predicted in next year's world cup?
