So my central locking keeps bouncing back and unlocking itself not always but sometimes it does and I don't notice, One for the "to do list" I keep saying il sort it out and never do!
However today my faith in humanity has been fully restored and my urgency of fixing it has gone through the roof.
Had to go to the bank at lunch today, parked the car round the corner put a ticket it on and proceeded with my banking tasks.
Twenty minutes or so later return to my car and two middle aged men are standing next to my car looking it over, I just assumed they were admiring it but no! whilst I was in the bank some little bugger had noticed I had left my phone on the passengers seat tried his luck and thanks to my central locking failure got into the car grabbed my phone and ran off.
Now this is the amazing part, the two guys were meeting one another for a pint, one of the guys saw me arrive in the car, park it up and walk away, he then watched the bugger walk past my car take a look back and then return to open the door and take my phone. So the good guy then ran after him, saw his friend coming in the opposite direction shouted to his friend to stop the bugger! The bugger dropped my phone and disappeared.
They both then went back to my car and waited for me to return and then filled me in on the whole episode!
I was extremely grateful and bought them both a few beers!
The End

Well mine seem to be getting stuck and then bouncing back, Joe @ Fcss put some lubricant spray down the lock worked for awhile but then started again

In almost every case, the problem with bouncing locks is that one of the lock position switches isn't agreeing with the other - it thinks that it's still open after the lock has theoretically closed.
Cause 1: the switch is dead: new latch unit required. Cause 2: the latch is sticky: lubrication and exercise until it's not sticky. Cause 3: bad signal from alarm/remote receiver: replace. Cause 4: bad signal from dashboard switch (relocks after unlocking only; there's no unlock signal from that): replace. Cause 5: latch servo dead: new latch unit required. Cause 6: problem with lock unit (under driver's seat on 20v). Cause 7: Bonnet or boot microswitch not switching.
There is nothing in the rumour that the switches 'get out of sync' - the usual cure for that involving a lot of running around with a key is just exercising the locks.
As the problem is most likely in a door, you can isolate it by unplugging the big square connector in the A-pillar; the lock, window, loudspeaker and any lights on that door will stop working but the bounce will stop if that's the cause.

I believe this also happens when the controller thinks the bonnet or boot is open because the switches haven't been pushed fully home by bonnet or boot.

My £5 is usually on you having the correct answer Neil, but IIRC an old post of Stan's referred to the boot lid microswitch not being adjusted properly causing similar locking problems. When Deano1990 had this issue I fiddled about with the switch and the system suddenly corrected itself....
