I saw a Tesla Model S on the M20 today. Couldn't work out what it was until I looked up the Tesla logo.
Kind of a sort of large Jag and Maserati cross.... With a bit of typical wierd American design for good measure.
The performance stats are impressive too. I spotted one of these in Bristol the other week too. I too was hunting for a badge to identify it - I had no idea Tesla had produced a car of this type... Also spotted a Lancia Stratos on the M4 on the way home on the same day I saw one in Amsterdam at the weekend. It was parked next to the canal on charge. It's a nice shape overall but there are a few cheap looking bits of chrome I wouldn't have expected on a car at this price. Interior is very cool though.

20 years ago I so wanted an Audi 200 Quattro Turbo Avant, based on the original aero Audi 100. They were rare enough back then, so tempted the flag down the one following me yesterday through High Wycombe
Back in the day 170bhp in an estate car was astonishing, mid 80s RS6 equivalent

Back in the day 170bhp in an estate car was astonishing, mid 80s RS6 equivalent yep, and cars were lighter back then, so the probably felt pretty nippy.

Saw an Aventador crossing the roundabout at Jack Straw's Castle in Hampstead yesterday afteroon. Black with yellow brake calipers.
They've got a bit of presence haven't they.

Saw an Aston Martin Rapide S yesterday.
It was a bit bigger than I expected an Aston to be, and then I noticed it had four doors.
Lovely little thing.

I had another spin out in my Bro-in-Laws works Rapide S from Gaydon the other week..... Nice Ferrari California going through Warwick Market Square yesterday afternoon and my new neighbour pulled up to say hello last night after he spotted my 'collection' as a fellow Petrolhead in his newly acquired Audi R8 GT - drive and photos to follow

I saw an old Jaguar XJS (late 80's I suspect) gathering a lot of dust/sand along the highway from Muscat to Sohar in Oman, oh, and a black Fiat 500, hardly rare in the UK, but an oasis of Italiana amongst the bland and non-descript Asian cars that are everywhere over here, even German cars are pretty rare!

Seeing the advertising poster in that last photo reminded me that we stayed in Adenau for a week a few years back. Didn't take a car, instead did the tourist thing by trains and boats on the Rhine.

We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using. I even unplugged my own.
