Following the recent work on Ellie, my LE (New cam belt etc, and sorting the brakes), today was the first opportunity to take her for a proper drive and put her through her paces- to Hungerford - and back.
There was only one problem - my face is still aching from the permanent grin the drive induced!
On a more serious note, I would welcome some advice on what to use on the leather interior. It is in excellent condition, but I assume leather should be 'fed' with something. Does the red leather need a different product to the black leather? Thanks in advance.

The Leather in LE's is PU (polyurethane) coated to seal in the colour. So "feeding" as such is a bit unnecessary. A good clean with a leather cleaner and keep it regularly wiped/cleaned should do the job. And keep it out of direct sun if possible. The red seat bases are slightly different though as they have the perforations, it is possible to feed the skin/leather through the holes by-passing the plastic top coat, just don't over do it! As said, a decent cleaner will probably have enough natural oils to keep things supple.

gliptone thirded :-) if you can, speak with them, they're always willing to help / advise and certainly know their stuff. i pass everyday (todmorden) and once called in with a coupe, left £50odd quid lighter but the cleaner and scuffmaster and other bottle were well worth it, and if i ever get my red LE going, i'll do the same in that :-) http://www.liquidleather.com/sorry mods, not affiliated, but link is there to help. please remove if breaches any rules.
