Just had a BBQ with rump steak and Kangaroo sausages, yum!

Earlier today, I took two of my grandchildren to the beach for a swim and a play in the sand.

Tomorrow, we expect 30 degrees+ here so the Weber will be fired up to cook the roast pork, chicken and vegetables outside. No doubt we will be up early with two young children in the house.

How will you all be celebrating Christmas?

At around a proper 1 or 2 degrees with a 3 bird roast, a few bottles of m&c and then Jim beam / sailor jerry!

I echo - enjoy and forget all your woes for a day! Live life as it was supposed to be!!!

Off to my daughters later for a breakfast fry up and to see my grandsons, then home to get changed before I go back to pick up daughter and grandsons and then go to my brothers house for Christmas dinner, etc.

Nice day with the family, then home for the night with a few beers

Had our turkey early evening with pigs in kilts etc. then the eight of us played Pounce round the dinner table for three hours - great fun!

Spending mine in sunny Florida doing the Disney thing! Off to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow to do Xmas the Floridian way! We're 5hrs behind the UK so it's not quite Christmas Day yet. I hope you all get something for the "Special One" in your life

I am away from home with a loved one who is quite ill, enjoying the blessing of their company.

John's gospel says of Jesus: "He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognise him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."

Whether today is a day that is sacred for you or not. May all on the forum have an awesome Christmas: some light of hope for any who have experienced the darkness of a hard year; some joy of being welcomed into family for any who have suffered rejection.
