Coupe is now in the inlaws garage for the winter. Had to put it away wet due to rain but never mind. Trickle charger on, handbrake off.

Tyres at 8000 psi. Not.

Sump coated in a protective layer if oil, road debris and stones. Leading edges protected by a dense film of finest quality dead flies.

Paintwork accented by the finest randomized scratches and dents.

Looking forward to getting her back in spring !

Me too, mine went away with the round trip to Spa and back grime attached. No rain applied though. Looking forward to getting her out to give her a spring clean in spring. wink

Good to hear it's tucked up snug and not left out in the cold.

Mine went away November after a full detailing and now sits under the nice yellow indoor coupe cover can't wait for the warmer weather.

I fibbed a bit. It has had a clean inside and out. But was wet going into the garage due to rain. Will have a cover on once dry.

I note you have a wine red VIS like me ! How do you find it?

I wish I had your luck, mines a daily and the poor girl has to endure whatever the harsh UK weather brings. That was roughly 2 inches of snow last night alone...great. So glad I have my undertray, I guess it saves me a little.

One positive, was told the underside of my car is in great condition for a 16 year old coupe from two mechanics!!!

Mine was a daily drive but got a work car now. Nothing special just a very slow bottom of the range Peugeot 208.

I far prefer driving the Coupe but it is good to be able to keep her dry for the winter. Luckily the inlaws garage isn't full of junk.

Off to Brighton next month to take my pride and joy to my sisters where she has offered to lend me her garage for winter storage.

Can't believe another 6 months has elapsed.

I'm obviously having too much fun driving the coup. smile

That's very kind of her- will you just leave it for months or get down there to turn it over every now and again..?

My wine red vis n/a will be off on 17 October. Found a large space to park it for the winter. Costs about 90 quid Well spent money since it is bone dry in there. Well I suppose I have to make do sith my Lexus for the upcoming winter

Today's effort... Washed and garaged for the time being though they will be fired up once a month. CTEK chargers connected and a new (replacement) dehumidifier going in on Wednesday.

You will miss having a frozen up handbrake and being unable to budge the door locks with a key.

Actually a change if plan. I was going to park her up in the garage in Brighton but my sister has just measured the garage and the coupe's too big!

It will fit but I wouldn't be able to open the door wide enough to get out!

Apparently she's never used the garage for her car, just for storing furniture.

Anyway, I've sorned the coupe and parked her up on the drive under a cover so at least I'll be able to start her up now and again.

Can't you just drive it in straight (or reverse in) and then reverse out (or drive out straight) so you can get out, engine off, leave in neutral, handrake on, chock the wheels, handbrake off, and just push it back in? Simples.
