Was just wondering what coupes people owned are you on the first 1 or had loads or maybe had the same 1 for years?
Not sure if this is also allowed but was also wondering about other Fiat/Alfas aswell.
My Journey with Fiat started in 1993 when I worked for a Fiat Alfa main dealers in Lincoln. I remember taking a brand new Lancia Intergrale for a test drive and fell in love.
I loved the Uno Turbo.
U ended up owning 2 156, 3 Stilo Abarths, and more importantly a 20v Coupe in Green. 16vt in black ink and a 16v which I have now as a summer car.
Oh and wife just reminded me x 2 punto t-jets

My first car was an 83 fiat strada 85 super, back in 93. Cost me 50 quid and every door was a different colour.

other than a flirtatious period with a tr7, (was nearly an X1/9), all of my toys have been fiats!

'97 mk1 broom yellow punto sporting (1.2 not 1.6), had for 6yrs / 130k. great little car, absolutely mint under my ownership - written off week after sale.

'54 stilo prestigio selespeed in black (5dr abarth), discussed elsewhere, not a fan!

'00 coupe vt6 moon grey (v1) - buy cheap, buy twice... blind special from glasgow, even jbt said upon seeing it he had not seen one as crusty for a longtime...

'00 coupe vt6 moon grey (v2) - cosmetically challenged was the terminology. restored in 2014 under working title of VT6+LE, sold on to new owner in november.

'98 coupe LE speed red - presently sat in the garage awaiting first drive, but £2/3k later (belts, clutch, paint etc) should make a decent car and hopefully longterm investment - am holding high hopes!

punto was by far my favourite, was nice to drive a low powered car on the edge all the time - quite cutting edge for its day too, 185 tyres holding 1242cc 16v 86bhp of joy!

Not all the 'still owned' cars are MOTed, but all are road worthy. I also have a spares Coupe 20VT which is slowly being stripped, a spares 155 V6, also slowly being stripped, plus a 33 Series 2 Cloverleaf SW needing a bit of a restoration, and a 33 16v SW spares car.

The Lancia Delta was the first Italian car I owned. It went from there really.

Have you seen the 75 TS LE on Gumtree in the last week, Bruce 01? I've been hankering after another 75 too..... My TS was tail happy - too much in the end when I 360 degree'd it exiting a roundabout . Luckily didn't hit a thing and was able to drive off, very slowly, apologising the my very pale missus. Think Im mature enough for another one now (75, not missus - we're still together)

Also nearly did the same as you in my 75. Very easy to be facing the wrong way, especially in the wet lol.

The 75 is just so different inside and out. Would love a V6!!

I bought my Coupe 20VT in nov 2007 and still own it. It was the first Italian car is owned and in 2012 I bought a six month old Giulietta as the family car.

My Fiat does around 2k per year, but I can't bare to part with it!

First road legal and used on the road was my first Lancia Fulvia 1.3s 2+2 coupé.

In between a variety of assorted bangers, I owned 2 more similar Fulvias.

25 or more years of company cars followed, until redundancy 5 years ago. (So now self employed)

First car after redundancy in 2009 was a very nice 39,000 mile 2005 Alfa 156 2.0 JTS. Had this for 20,000 excellent miles, but bought my first Coupé while I still had the Alfa (a red 20VT6 speeder from 2000) which was a high miler, but ran great after Joe at FCSS performed a little magic on it.

A month after I bought the red one I bought a wine red Plus, which sadly was a basket case. Bought it as a project, but after 6 months I realised that it was beyond a project, so it got scrapped. Would do it differently now.

Part exchanged my red VT6 for my broom yellow Plus, which I still have 2 years later.

Then bought a Cat C written off 2000 ink black 20VT6, with only 76,000 miles on it and in very well looked after (pampered) condition. Joe supplied the magic again that put this lovely car back on the road and again, I still have it.

One other Coupé was purchased just after the inky. A 20VT again, but my first 5 speed Coupé. This had only done about 40,000 miles and with full service history. A very good runner, but also a rolling project and this was sold on. I'm hoping that it is in the process of full restoration with it's new owner.

Now a confirmed Italian car but, with the Coupé easily best bang for buck. Expecting to sell one of the remaining two, but can't see myself Coupéless ever again.

There is certainly some pedigree on this forum...
