I would try a different paint Daniel, Hammerite is not great. Harsh conditions here but only 10 months old. Ho ho, Neil has made an error with his use of your. I am shocked to my core!

And Neil no worries mate the lettering is the least of my worries at the moment Got exactly one week to Stamford still have 2 wing mirrors to spray front bumper to paint and meshing to put on and then clean her inside out and I work 6 days a week it's Going to be close Ps I used hammerite is quite a few places on my coupe wire brushed back with the electric drill and double coated never had a problem some still fine after 3 years .
