I have been looking at Strada Abarths quite enviously recently. Brother-In-Law had one a few years ago and it was mad as a mad thing.

They seem to come up on ebay once every 3 or 4 months. in 2014 I saw 2 black ones, a red, and a silver. All went for around 3000 quid, and all were MOTed, fairly recent restorations etc. If you don't mind eBay, it might be worth setting an auto search which emails your when one comes up.

I have seen a few on ebay I would pay £3500 for a strada with out a problem if it was a good one maybe more depending on car.I don't understand why these cars prices have not gone through the roof they are ultra rare they carry the abarth badge and are far more exclusive than a mk1 golf gti and look how much you have to pay for a good one of them.

They are a great car Fiat Strada Abarth 130TC and i use mine all year round . Two years ago i had it up for sale and it was on ebay three times and piston heads . Had two idiots turn up but no sale . Hard car to sell hard car to find in decent condition . People have been telling me that the price will go up but that was ten years ago and they have not .Back in the 90s i use to buy and sell these cars and they were selling at the time top money for 3k which is about the same as today . You would think that this car is a genuine abarth that it would be worth alot more but no . Have a look at the price of a Fiat 131 sport if you can find one for sale and its close to 12k to 15k . They never sold silvers ones in the Uk .

Friend of mine has one of these in metallic grey - 1988, second owner, he bought when it was 2 years old and had done 13k. It is kept as a 3rd car and I think it is under 30k on the mileage !
Lovely looking beast, but I don't think he will part with it - certainly not under £5k - I will ask and if he does, will let you guys know and advertise going through proper forum channels.

Both of my brothers and I had 130TCs back in the late 80's - theirs were black and gunmetal grey, whereas mine was red - a year old (E plate) Mk3 I purchased from Allan Briggs in Chingford. I remember the day I picked it up and the drive home - I feared I would have to go to A&E to have the grin surgically removed.

Absolutely mental noise if you take the top off the airbox wink

Heard via the Register that mine went to the great autostrada in the sky about 15 years ago cry - but one of my Brothers restored the black one a while ago which was later sold to a chap who wanted to add it to his collection of Italian 80s classics.... and it resides next to his S4 cool

I uploaded a Dealer Video that Bill Stillwell (of Belle Vue Motors Southend) gave me back in the day when they were FIAT dealers and him and his brother Danny raced 130TCs (and later Sedicivalvoles). These cover the 130TCs running in the 85 production saloons - might be of interest.

1985 Production Saloons Pt1

1985 Production Saloons Pt2

All three of us "evo" brothers then moved to sedicivalvoles -another fine car - but I dont think any of them are still showing as being on the road.....

Good luck in your search - you'll love it driving
