I think they were about £20 each last time I priced them up

Hi,
as I wrote in this topic: http://www.fiatcoupeclub.org/forum/ubbthreads.ph...362#Post1482362

The valves from my dealer are still not here.. I don't want to hear anymore lies and excuses why are still not here so I want to order them by myself.

Custom order from Supertech is limited to minimal amount of 50 valves..

Ferrea can make them but for 65$ each!! that is double price that Knight7660 and others tells me... Money is not problem but why pay double when everybody payed them 30$ smile
And one awkward thing, Ferrea manufactured and sell at least 10 sets of this valves, and I still have to send them all measurements or send old valve as example..

Someone wrote "Cufaro racing" sells them.. I've emailed them and no answer for months..

Please help, I've been struggling with this case from last September. Meanwhile I converted my car to 4x4, and can't drive this crazy bastard because I don't have exhaust valves as I sold the old head.. maybe someone have them in stock? Or on head that is not mounted on an engine?

Thank you people! smile

Did you source the exhaust valves?

No, I completed head with original valves. But coated valves and head chamber with ceramic coating. My tuner guarantee me that I will not have problems with original valves because of high flow, low BP exhaust manifold that I have + aquamist. But there is something that I can't, I can't drive over 300km/h for long period, that will burn the valves hehe lol smile
I have guarantee on engine so don't think about valves anymore as I have been told not to worry smile

Cool, I've been trying to source some without much luck, I've emailed Manley in the US who seem to be able to make custom valves for a reasonable price see what they come back with, not heard about ceramic coating the valves might be a easier option, I'll have a look into it

Are you still using the 2.0L bottom end or 2.4? What pistons are you using? Did you have any issues with clearance of the valve pockets in the pistons?

Cheers

Yes, still 2.0 bottom end. Was thinking about 2.4 but didn't see much benefit for the cost of new parts.
Accralite 83mm pistons, I needed to expand valve pockets as valves would contact the pistons (a lot).
