Late model 20VT owners - what does your voltmeter typically read at idle with the aircon, stereo on ?

Mine is dipping into the 9's, I think my battery may be on its way out ?

Car feels a bit lumpy too...

i think mine is 12 all the time. I've tried to change it by pissing about with all the electrics but had no luck. Or maybe that is lucky?

If it's showing 9 volts while the engine is running, then it could well be the alternator that isn't doing it's job properly. Even if your battery was at the end of it's life, it should still display more than 9 volts with the engine running I'd say?

My voltmeter shows 10.5 on idle with the AC on full blast... The widget shows 11.7 or so...on running it shows 12 or so while the wiget is at 13.5, so i dont trust the voltmeter at all!

Ive got an aftermarket Volt meter that really never drops below 11volts and that would be parked up say with the stereo going.
