My recently bought Coupe has a slightly frilly front wing which has gone through on the edge. I had thought of just using some glassfibre to build it back up but notice second hand wings can be got for around £30 but can't find one in Portofino. The car has to go into the bodyshop soon for repairs and respray of front bumper and it probably wouldn't cost a lot more to get a wing sprayed.
So to my question - how easy is it to remove and replace a wing. Looks like its just held on with a few bolts. Or am I missing something?

Absolute doddle - three bolts at the top, two at the bottom - the bottom two are usually hidden with road muck and often covered in seam sealant, so make sure you clean them up very well before trying to remove, otherwise you'll round them off
I think I may have a Porto wing or two, but not sure of the condition - which side are you looking for? Got a wing now. Presume you get to the bottom two bolts by removing the inner wing liner? D

Got a wing now. Presume you get to the bottom two bolts by removing the inner wing liner? No - just undo the top bolts first and the wing will pull away from the body, allowing access to the lower bolts (with the help of a couple of long extensions on the ratchet) I'll repeat the warning above - make sure the bolts heads are cleaned of all the road muck and sealant, otherwise its very easy to round off the bolt heads - when I'm removing wings, I usually get the socket lined up on the bolt, with a couple of long extensions, then I give it a hefty whack with a hammer - helps to locate the socket and will help to loosen the bolt

This is handy and timely advice for me, as I have a wing to replace. Was looking at it with my nephew at the weekend and we both reckoned the liner had to come off.

I had mine in at the bodyshop for work on a damaged front bumper so asked the shop to change the wing whilst they were at it. They agreed to do it at the hourly rate but in the end charged me nothing as it was that easy a job
