I know that a lot on here use the "Fiat coupe owners group" Facebook page. You probably know that Emmanuel Hidalgo is an Admin on there.

Just like to say he's a ¥#€$!

Why you ask?

When Coupé owners get together and share information and experiences it is for mutual benefit and encouragement. First of all he bans Joe at FCSS because Joe dared to put out feelers on who would be interested in having stainless steel brake protector shields fabricated, to improve on the mild steel ones that rust out. Now this is offering a potential benefit to Coupé owners and whilst it could lead to business for Joe, why is that a bad thing if we all benefit?

But it's OK for Emmanuel to break up Coupés and offer parts to other members of that group!

He then started to attack Joe's reputation, so when I posted positive comments of my considerable dealings with Joe, he decided to ban me and anyone who agreed with me.

Emmanuel, you are a very sad little man and you have my pity!

Also, I'd like to encourage all FCCUK members to boycott the "Fiat coupe owners group" Facebook page.

Sorry for my rant, but we should all be helping each other and not by being so pathetic as to ban anyone who doesn't agree with us.

I know the feeling, I emailed a guy about some concert tickets that my daughter wanted for over a year. We sent him the money and received no reply, after 50 days. I emailed him and said, in affect 'what the hell is going on?'

He replied immediately and cancelled the tickets 'even though there was none sent' and returned the money.

Peter I appreciate you fighting my corner with this, also a massive thank you to everyone else who came to my defence as I wasn't able to be there myself to see what was being written.

I share my knowledge and offer support where ever I can, so if a certain group of individuals want to see this as 'trolling for business' they have a very twisted way of seeing things.

It takes a passionate person to own and look after a Fiat Coupe, and anyone that buys them just to rip them apart for profit is someone I don't want to know!

ive dealt with JOe on few occasions( even now ) and found him to be a very good chap .......infact without doubt i would say he is credit to this forum and coupe ownership as a whole

It's not about advertising anyway. Hidalgo is always offering parts to Coupé owners from Coupés he has broken, so he's touting for business all the time. But of course, that's OK because he's an admin.

So he's alright to make money out of Coupé owners, but no one else can and he can get away with it because he can ban you and anyone who sticks up for you.

Haha, I'm a admin of this group. Don't know how. Think it was because I was one of the first to join it. Haven't really taken notice of it since joining.

You should be able to ban Emmanuel Hidalgo then.

Anyone know his ebay name? I'll ensure I avoid that as well.
It's a very limited market and there's nothing like cheesing off a large part of it.

Didn't know any of this, I'm on there and saw the post promptly removed with a "this person is banned" did think it's rather trivial as we can all benefit from such kindness of people willing to put the time in to helping others out.

It was my repost of Joe's original advert that caused Emmanuel to warn me about sharing posts from FCSS. The next thing it's all kicking off lol. Shame really as there'll be people on the FB page that'll miss out on opportunities like what Joe was offering. And we'll all need the help of the specialists from time to time..... Hardly in good spirit.

The Facebook page is ran pretty much exclusively by dodgy sellers and idiots that have been banned from here (and with good reason). I just feel sorry for those that aren't aware of Fccuk and are buying/selling with those crooks.
Pero/Biggenz is an Admin on the site and yet spouts off how terrible the Fiat Coupe is and I think what made me bite was him saying the worst thing about the model is the owners!
I laid into him last week and told him he's nothing but a troll and really has a chip on his shoulder. He told me to 'wind my neck in' as he was an authority on the Coupe, having had a 562BHP one. I'm an admin on this site, he says. My short but sweet response was that he can go and make love with himself. I'm now banned from the Facebook Fiat Coupe Owners Group (thank goodness!)

I was also banned for stating that someone who had co-written a book on the coupe is an asset to any coupe related group/page and by removing said person with all that knowledge is pretty stupid.

I then complemented them on their fine work!

i migrated over last night as it was unfolding, quite needless really considering the knowledge vacuum this will create for remaining users - over something ridiculously one-sided too!

just note that a splinter group was setup late last night - be careful not to confuse Old vs New in either joining or leaving, praising or slating...

ive been having a look around this FB page and the guy that accepted my request to join has got a nice coupe on there but what has made me laugh is that this "knob" Emmanuel what ever his name is has just changed his profile picture to this other guys coupe

been on that facebook page for little less then two weeks now. everyone there is offering parts etc, saw the add off joe pass there to. no idea why he got banned. stupid decision of the admin if you ask me. we're all here to keep these car as long on the road as we can. not to make money off of them. hate peeps like that.

It seems to be a glorified parts page from what I have seen of it. Nothing of major interest for me so far.

well bugger me but i think ive been blocked already and all i ever did as post a picture of my coupe and got loads of likes (50 odd) and now if i try to find the groupe i cant
