I assembled the brakes and every thing is very tight and the disc barely moves
I haven't bleed the system because I'm waiting for some Dot 5 fluid

Any help would be appreciated

Did you push the pistons back in before assembly?

Take the pads back out and make sure the disc is central to the caliper and it's not touching anywhere.

Ok what about the disc alignment to the hub, are the disc locating dowel holes in the right place?

Do the pads move freely in the calipers? Otherwise you're looking at a bit of overhaul, the sliding plates often hide swelling corrosion underneath.

Ah wait a minute, the avatar says 20v but the post says brembo.

Were the pads a tight fit when you fitted them inside the caliper, ie, did you have to use some force to fit them?
The pad guides as Per said above build up corrosion underneath them, the neatly of stainless steel and aluminium together.
Remove the pad guides and give it all a good clean up. Then see if the pads fit easier.

plus binding brakes - would still be quicker than my Scenic tongue
The Marea weekend is a great looking car, I reckon. Super stealthy in 20vt trim it will be too.

I thought the avatar was the 20v label on the left under the name?

I just read 20v.

Jim I thought the same until I saw the exotic list below his post, either way it doesn't matter at the moment as there's no engine in it laugh

Thanks for the tips guys
They are still are still dragging abit bit the calipers look past it
So will be getting my spare set refurbed and on the car
Think the swelling of the aluminium is causing the shims to sit slightly put of line
