Going to the South of France in July and would love to hire something a bit juicy just for a day.

Been looking around on Google and all seems a lot more expensive than I thought.

Most Ferrari are 1800 to 2500 euros which I think is funny money just for a day and some of them even say over a weekend you need to hire it for a minimum of 3 days!

The best thing I found was a Nissan GTR for about £400 which I thought was quite good. But would rather have something a little more exotic, ie Ferrari, Lambo, Aston etc, maybe even Audi R8.

Any ideas, recommendations on websites or cheeky ways of getting this down or anybody know anyone???

Many thanks

Maurizio

Car hire in France is notoriously expensive - especially if you have no French address.

As quick as a GTR is, unless your weekend involves driving on the track, I really wouldn't bother, you'll find it pretty boring as a daily driver.

The R8 or similar would be a true super car experience.
