A mate has been told that his 159 needs new wishbone bushes and that it needs the whole wishbones replaced at about £500. Knowing the fiat coop bush situation is this really right? Surely power flex bushes are cheaper.....

Tell him to have a look on the Autolusso website, they have developed (with Power flex) bushes to replace the standard rubber ones. The prices etc are on their website.

The front suspension on a 159 is quite different to a coupe as it has upper and lower wishbones, £500 is actually pretty reasonable.

It is certainly one job I'm not looking forward to paying out for on my 159 TBi.

Depends what been quoted but lower arms are about 150 each and upers are £75
